I had no idea how useful astrology could be until I, myself, was in turmoil.
In my early 20's I went to see a therapist to help me get through a spat of panic attacks and my low-confidence and self-image, something I struggled with for a long time. My therapist also happened to be an astrologer who ended up helping me enough that the following year I embarked on the trip of a lifetime.
In 1994,
I signed up for astrology studies at the Canadian Association of Astrological Study in Toronto, CA, and became a certified astrologer after a four-year astrology program. My last exam took me a day to write as I had to interpret a chart in detail and pick transits (trends) that were affecting it at that time.
My biggest test, however, was
being invited to have a table at the Mind, Body, Soul Expo in 2001. I read one chart after the other all day long for three days straight. It was soul-exhilarating. That is when I knew I was meant to be an Astrologer.
I started practicing astrology professionally until 2005 when I needed to withdraw due to an emotional trauma in my personal life.
I needed to heal. During that time, I switched gears and followed my heart to become a
dog psychologist to help dogs heal their own psychology and their relationships with their humans.
Dogs taught me many lessons over the 14 years I worked with them: Instinct and leadership that benefits the entire pack was of great importance. This experience led me back to my soul path of Aries—to stand up,
stand out and move stuck energy in the world. I realized that I have the ability to inspire humans to change also.
In 2019, I felt that I was being called back to my first love: Astrology. I returned to more studies with famed astrologer Debra Silverman and completed Level 3 of her Applied Astrology course. I practiced reading charts for free online as I honed my intuition by taking
Colette Baron Reid’s Oracle School over the next year, opening my own astrology practice to become a full-time astrologer.
I decided to jump into my own... Astrology practice with my clients and dedicate 100% of my time to becoming a full-time astrologer. It took 53 years, but I am finally
my authentic self, accepting daily guidance from spirit and fulfilling my life purpose. Reading for my clients is a privilege and joy.
Now I read open to spirit, and
my analytical mind comes along for the ride. truly love the intimate connections with my clients as I intend to inspire them to reach their full soul's potential outlined within their natal chart blueprint. I intend for you to come away

In 2004 I adopted my puppy Dango only to discover that during adolescence he became severely dog aggressive. This surprised me because he played with other dogs a few times a week, but at 1.5 years old the play wrestling started to become serious grabbing, pinning, and fighting other male dogs. He never fought females. This led me to discover and study dog pack psychology, which is based on certain dogs being born with traits that allow them to lead other dogs.
I wanted to learn how to influence a dog to follow me so I could get him to stop fighting. It took months to learn to lead him on a walk and when to step up to lead him in situations; I had studied other confident dogs doing. Once he believed that I could handle the leadership position, he deferred to me all the time around other dogs, and if I was friendly, so was he. He relaxed and became quite psychologically balanced.
In this time, I wanted to socialize him properly, so I started a dog daycare to practice what I had learned. Soon, I had a balanced pack of three dogs who taught me all I needed to know about running a balanced pack of dogs, and I realized that with their help I could rehabilitate any unbalanced dog. In 2006, I opened Grateful Stride Canine Services and I've been rehabbing dogs ever since.
